Customers who make a single transaction HK$500 or above with an applicable DBS Credit Card at designated merchant(s) during the designated promotion period⁺ (“Eligible Transaction”) and successfully apply for Flexi Shopping 3 or 6-month instalments^@ (charging one-off handling fee) via DBS Card+ app (“Eligible Flexi Shopping”), can enjoy a one-off handling fee cash rebate up to HK$100^*!

⁺The details are as follows:

Example 1: A customer made the following Eligible Transaction at designated merchant A and successfully applied for Eligible Flexi Shopping, without receiving a one-off handling fee cash rebate from designated merchant A to enjoy HK$40 one-off handling fee cash rebate.

Example 2: A customer made the following Eligible Transactions at designated merchant A and designated merchant B respectively and successfully applied for Eligible Flexi Shopping simultaneously to enjoy HK$55 one-off handling fee cash rebate given that the customer had received a one-off handling fee cash rebate from designated merchant A but not from designated merchant B.

Example 3: A customer made the following Eligible Transactions at designated merchant C, designated merchant D and merchant E respectively and successfully applied for an Eligible Flexi Shopping simultaneously to enjoy HK$155 one-off handling fee cash rebate without receiving a one-off handling fee cash rebate from designated merchant C and D.

Example 4: A customer made the following Eligible Transaction at designated merchant F and successfully applied for Eligible Flexi Shopping. Provided that the customer had already received a one-off handling fee cash rebate from designated merchant F, no more one-off handling fee cash rebate will be entitled.

^# Maximum handling fee rebate is HK$100 and only applicable to designated merchant(s) spending.
^@Successful application for the Flexi Shopping Programme means that the first instalment is posted to the Applicable Credit Card account during the Promotion Period.
^*One-off handling fee rebate is only applicable to the 1^st single Eligible Transaction amount of the successful application of Flexi Shopping Instalment at each designated merchant during the promotion period. Fee rebate will be credited to the relevant applicable credit card account within 3 months after the end of the respective promotion period of the designated merchants and shown on the monthly statement.

How to apply Flexi Shopping Programme via DBS Card+ app

General Notes:

Only applicable for spending amount of HK$500 – HK$300,000 (single application).
All Flexi Shopping application should be completed 6 working days before the payment due date printed on the monthly statement. Otherwise, you are required to first settle payment for the relevant Eligible Transaction in full before the payment due date. Once the application for the Programme is successful, the payment you made for the relevant Eligible Transaction will be credited to your Card Account and the relevant Eligible Transaction will be converted into a Flexi Shopping Transaction and net-off the statement balance in the following month.
If the transactions that you have applied for Flexi Shopping cannot be successfully converted into instalment transactions before the monthly statement is issued, and you have arranged “Autopay” service for your credit card account, you can call the customer service hotline 2290 8888 at least two business days before payment due date to enquiry whether payment instruction can be amended or not.
If you apply the eligible transaction made by DBS Black American Express^® Card via DBS Card+ app, you can only apply Flexi Shopping with single transaction only. If you apply for Flexi Shopping that charged one-off handling fee, that single transaction amount must be HK$500 or above (Login DBS Card+ app > choose “Spending” page > select eligible transaction to start your application Journey).
Maximum 500 eligible transactions can be selected for single application via DBS Card+ app.
After the online application is successfully submitted, you will receive an email for your application. If there is any discrepancy between the information you submitted and the bank's record, the bank will contact you to follow up before the payment due date of the relevant transaction.

Notes for Auto Flexi Shopping:

Auto Flexi Shopping Instruction can be cancelled any time after setting up.
After setting up Auto Flexi Shopping Instruction, when you spend with the credit card based on your instruction and the amount of a single spending falls within the Transaction Amount Range in your instruction, we will automatically submit an application for Flexi Shopping Programme for you to convert the relevant transaction to Flexi Shopping instalments based on your chosen tenor.
Auto Flexi Shopping Instruction shall be of continuing nature before the expiry date which you assigned in the instruction (unless cancelled by you or suspended by us when there are changes to the prevailing terms and conditions and/or fees and charges which will be accepted by you later).
The approval of your Flexi Shopping Programme application is subject to the available credit limit and status of your credit card account and our final decision. A confirmation letter will be issued for your records after we have processed the Flexi Shopping Programme application.
