Auto Flexi Shopping FunctionYou can flexibly set up Auto Flexi Shopping instructions with your choice of credit card, transaction amount range, tenor and instruction expiry date. When you make a purchase with the selected credit card that matches the single transaction amount in your Auto Flexi Shopping instruction, an application to convert that transaction into Flexi Shopping instalments based on your chosen tenor will be automatically submitted!

How to Set Up Auto Flexi Shopping Instructions with DBS Card+ App

1. On “Cards” page, tap “Spending Instalment“

Assume repaying a credit card transaction of HK$10,000 by 18 months with a monthly flat rate of 0.13%, the daily interest is as low as HK$0.43*.

General Notes:

All Flexi Shopping applications should be completed 6 working days before the payment due date printed on the monthly statement. Otherwise, you are required to first settle payment for the relevant Eligible Transaction in full before the payment due date. Once the application for the Programme is successful, the payment you made for the relevant Eligible Transaction will be credited to your Card Account and the relevant Eligible Transaction will be converted into a Flexi Shopping Transaction and net-off the statement balance in the following month.
If the transactions that you have applied for Flexi Shopping cannot be converted into instalment transactions before the monthly statement is issued, and you have arranged “Autopay” service for your credit card account, you can call the customer service hotline 2290 8888 at least two business days before payment due date to inquire whether payment instruction can be amended or not.
If you apply to convert eligible transaction made by DBS Black American Express^® Card or eligible transaction of “iFlexi - up to 90-day Interest-free Repayment Period for Online Transaction”/ “Flexi Travel - up to 90-day Interest-free Repayment Period for Overseas and Travelling Transaction” promotion made by DBS Live Fresh Card into instalment transactions via DBS Card+ app, you can only apply for Flexi Shopping with a single transaction only. If you apply for Flexi Shopping that charges one-off handling fee, that single transaction amount must be HK$500 or above. If you apply for Flexi Shopping that charges monthly interest, that single transaction amount must be HK$2,000 or above (Log in to DBS Card+ app > choose “Spending” page > select eligible transaction to start your application Journey).
Maximum 500 eligible transactions can be selected in a single application via DBS Card+ app.
After the online application is successfully submitted, you will receive an email for your application. If there is any discrepancy between the information you submitted and the bank's record, the bank will contact you to follow up before the payment due date of the relevant transaction.

Notes for Flexi Shopping Programme that charges one-off handling fee

Only applicable for spending amount of HK$500 to HK$300,000 (single application). If the application amount is more than HK$300,000, please select Flexi Shopping that charges monthly interest.

Notes for Auto Flexi Shopping

Auto Flexi Shopping Instruction can be cancelled any time after setting up.
After setting up Auto Flexi Shopping Instruction, when you spend with the credit card based on your instruction and the amount of a single spending falls within the Transaction Amount Range in your instruction, we will automatically submit an application for Flexi Shopping Programme for you to convert the relevant transaction to Flexi Shopping instalments based on your chosen tenor.
Auto Flexi Shopping Instruction shall be of continuing nature before the expiry date which you assigned in the instruction (unless cancelled by you or suspended by us when there are changes to the prevailing terms and conditions and/or fees and charges which will be accepted by you later).
The approval of your Flexi Shopping Programme application is subject to the available credit limit and status of your credit card account and our final decision. A confirmation letter will be issued for your records after we have processed the Flexi Shopping Programme application.

Notes for Flexi Shopping Programme that charges monthly interest

Not applicable for spending amount of HK$300,000 or below for 6 or 12-month Flexi Shopping that charges monthly interest for application through DBS Card+ app. Please select Flexi Shopping that charges one-off handling fee.
If you choose to pay off the “Monthly Interest Fee Plan” early, you are not able to save any interest because interest payable for the remaining term of the “Monthly Interest Fee Plan” which is embedded in the monthly instalment amount shall still be payable.
