MobileShield is an insurance product which offers protection to your mobile phone in the event of accidental damage and/or burglary or robbery. In addition, you are also entitled to other coverages such as DBS DigiBank E-Wallet Protection, cash out robbery cover and important documents cover.
In the event of accidental damage:
Your mobile phone will be repaired by Chubb Mobile Repair Network. A deductible* of HKD450 is applicable for each and every repair.
If your mobile phone is unrepairable, you will be offered a replacement mobile phone of the same or similar specification as your insured mobile phone. Kindly note that the replacement mobile phone may be new or refurbished. A deductible* of HKD900 is applicable for each and every replacement.
In the event of burglary or robbery:
Your mobile phone will be replaced by Chubb Mobile Repair Network. You will be offered a replacement mobile phone of the same or similar specification as your insured mobile phone. Kindly note that the replacement mobile phone may be new or refurbished. A deductible* of HKD900 is applicable for each and every replacement.

No. Any damage to or loss of data held on your mobile phone, including but not limited to any pictures, software, downloads, apps and music is excluded from the policy coverage.

Each MobileShield policy will only cover up to one mobile phone and is based on the IMEI number which you provide to Chubb.
If you purchase a different mobile phone within 12 months from the commencement date of your MobileShield policy, please ensure that you notify Chubb within 14 working days from the date of purchase. You are entitled to change your IMEI number twice during any single 12-month period.
For example, you will be covered in the event of:
Annual policy, 12 months from the commencement date of the policy;
Monthly policy, can cover up to 24 months.
You can pay for the policy on either monthly or an annual basis by your credit card (Visa and MasterCard).

You need to ensure that the IMEI and/or Serial Number of gadgets eligible under this policy are declared with us within 30 days through the verification portal from the purchase of this policy. This policy only effective once the the verification is completed
If failed to complete verification within 30 days, your policy will be deemed as invalid and policy will be cancelled with full premium refund if the premium have charged
