What is PayFast?
PayFast is an electronic fund transfer service supported by Faster Payment System (FPS) that allows you to pay instantly* to any local recipients’ mobile number or email address, and does not require additional authentication. Daily transfer limit is up to HK$10,000.
* The exact timing of crediting funds to recipient's account will be subject to the operation of recipient bank.

How to register & activate PayFast via DBS digibank HK?
You can perform a one-time activation from Transfer Settings via DBS digibank HK.
During activation, you will need your Secure Device for authentication.
Please follow below steps to register & activate PayFast:
Register Payfast
Register with Mobile Number or Email Address
Login to DBS mobile banking
Go to "Pay & Transfer" > "PayFast" > "FPS Settings"
Choose to register FPS with your Mobile Number or Email Address
Follow on-screen instructions and complete registration
Register with HKID Card number
Log in to DBS mobile banking
Go to "Pay & Transfer" > "PayFast" > "FPS Settings"
Choose to register FPS with your HKID card number
Follow on-screen instructions and complete registration
Activate Transfer Limit for PayFast
(Need authenticate with Secure Device or Digital Token. You can activate your Digital Token immediately via DBS digibank HK. Please click here for details.)
Log in to DBS mobile banking
Go to "Pay & Transfer" > "PayFast" > "FPS Settings"
Click "Local Transfer Limits"
Update "PayFast and Scan & Pay Limit" to a value* other than zero
Enter your DBS iBanking password^
Let your Digital Token authenticate

How to change daily transfer limit for PayFast through DBS iBanking?
Follow below steps to change the daily transfer limit for PayFast:
Login DBS iBanking, click “Transfer” on menu bar, then click “Transfer Settings”
Select “PayFast”, then click “Update”
Enter new daily transfer limit, then click “NEXT”
Verify details, then click “Next”
Transaction completed.
Transfer funds
How to transfer funds through PayFast via DBS digibank HK?
Once you have activated PayFast, you can transfer funds through PayFast via DBS digibank HK.
Please follow below steps to transfer your funds through PayFast:
Tap "PayFast" in DBS digibank HK main page, then login to DBS digibank HK
Select "Mobile" or "Email Address" at the top for recipient, enter Mobile Number or Email Address, then tap "NEXT"
Enter transfer amount, and Message to Recipient (if any)
Verify transfer details and tap "CONFIRM" to complete transaction
(Note: If you have already login DBS digibank HK, select "Transfer Funds" under main menu, then select "PayFast")
(Note: If you need to select Recipient’s bank account, in "Specify Recipient Bank" area, tap to change "NO" to "YES", then select Bank from the pull-down menu.)
Notes:
Please ensure the recipient and transfer details are correct before you submit the transaction. Once you have submitted the transaction, it cannot be cancelled. If a wrong transaction has been submitted, you can download "MIS-TRANSFERRED FUND RECALL REQUEST FORM" here and return the completed form to our branches or call (852) 2290 8888 for assistance.
If you have received funds that are mis-transferred to you, you should immediately contact us at (852) 2290 8888 to arrange the return of funds. You may have criminal liability if you do not return the mis-transferred funds.
How to Transfer to FPS ID via DBS digibank HK?

Step 1: Log in and go to Pay & Transfer > Local Transfer
Step 2: Tap “”icon on the top right hand corner > “Transfer to New Recipient” and “FPS ID”
Step 3: Enter recipient’s FPS ID and transfer details
Step 4: Confirm transfer
Step 5: Enter your DBS iBanking password^
Step 6: Let your Digital Token* authenticate your transfers

What types of bank accounts can I link my mobile number or email address to? Are joint accounts included?
For a joint account, can all joint account holders link their mobile number or email address to the joint account?

High risk alert
If I find my recipient’s FPS proxy ID/bank account number/Stored Value Facility (SVF) account number is being flagged by the high risk alert, how can I remove it?
Will DBS be able to help remove my FPS proxy IDs/bank account numbers/SVF account numbers from the high risk alert?
If I want to report a suspicious FPS proxy ID/bank account number/SVF account number, what should I do?
If there is no high risk alert message relating to my recipient, does it guarantee it is safe to transfer to him/her?

De-register & deactivate
How to de-register & deactivate PayFast via DBS digibank HK?
You can de-register mobile number/email address and deactivate PayFast at Transfer Settings via DBS digibank HK.
Please follow the below steps to de-register mobile number/email address and deactivate PayFast:
Step 1: De-register Mobile Number or Email Address
Login to DBS digibank HK, and select “Settings” under main Menu
Select “Transfer Settings”
Select Mobile Number or Email Address which is registered with PayFast (Mobile Number is registered as in below example)
Press recycle bin icon at the top right hand corner
Press “DEREGISTER”
De-registration completed, you will receive confirmation SMS.
Step 2: Deactivate PayFast
In “Transfer Settings” page, select “PayFast”
Press recycle bin icon at the top right hand corner
Press “DEACTIVATE”
Deactivation completed, you will receive confirmation SMS.
