For security reasons, please change your DBS iBanking password regularly. New password must be made up of 8 to 30 characters with the combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters and numbers.
You can instruct that your Secure Device and/or SMS OTP be required to authenticate all types of transactions or only the following transactions that require a higher level of security:

^ Bill payments to merchants in the selected merchant categories cannot be conducted via DBS digibank even they are included in “My Payee List” of DBS iBanking.

Using two factor authentication (2FA) (i.e. SMS OTP and/or the Secure Device) for all transactions would further reduce the risk of unauthorized transaction. If you opt for using 2FA only for transactions that require a higher level of security, you may be exposed to higher risk of unauthorized access.
To view and change your DBS iBanking daily limit, select "Manage Transaction Limit" under "Preferences".
To increase a daily limit, you are required to use your SMS OTP and Secure Device to authenticate the transaction. The instruction will become effective immediately. Or you can download and complete the DBS iBanking Service Request Form and return the completed form to any DBS branch or send it back to us by mail. The new limit will normally take effect within 4 business days upon receipt of the duly completed form.
DBS iBanking and DBS digibank share the same daily limit.
For your security, please avoid setting the daily limits at a level much higher than you usually need.
If you have not transferred funds to non-registered third party accounts for 12 months, the corresponding daily limit will be reset to HK$0.
You can update your personal details under "Preferences" > "Update Personal Details". Your Secure Device and SMS OTP will be required to authenticate the transaction.

To amend the nickname of your account, simply select the account and enter a new nickname at "Preference" > "Personalize My Account Nickname".
Simply click on "Manage Registered Payee for Funds Transfer" to set up your own payee list, so that you can avoid the hassle of re-entering the same payee details every time for your funds transfer.

If the delivery of any email notifications to your registered email address fails, we will notify you by SMS/letter. You may log in to DBS iBanking to update your registered email address.
A wide range of alerts are available for you to choose from.
To subscribe to any particular type of alert, click on "Subscribe" and follow the instructions.
To manage your alerts, go to "Preferences" > "Manage My Alerts".
To change the settings of an alert, click on the "Amend" link corresponding to that particular alert and follow the instructions.
To stop receiving a particular alert, click on the "Unsubscribe" link corresponding to that particular alert and follow the instructions.
A One Time Password (OTP) is required for subscribing to, amending or cancelling some alerts.
Check the details carefully and enter the last 6 digits of the OTP to authorise the instruction.

To receive instant notification of your securities order status by SMS or e-mail, click on "Subscribe Now" to subscribe to the Securities Order Confirmation service.

The summary shows the latest settings of your Securities Order Confirmation service. You can amend the settings of or unsubscribe from the Securities Order Confirmation service.
You can choose to receive your alerts by e-mail or SMS at your designated e-mail address or mobile phone number.
You can choose to receive SMS alerts in English or Chinese. E-mail alerts will be sent in both English and Chinese.

An OTP is required if you wish to change your e-mail address or mobile phone number during the subscription or amendment of the Securities Order Confirmation service.
Check the details carefully and enter the last 6 digits of the OTP to authorise the instruction.
To view and change your Overseas ATM Transaction Limit, under "Preferences", select "Manage Overseas ATM Transaction Settings". For improved security, the overseas ATM transaction function (including cash withdrawal and cash advance) for all ATM cards and credit cards are pre-set as "deactivated". If you wish to use ATM services overseas, please activate the function in advance by setting the service start date / end date and the withdrawal limit.
You can view messages sent to you by DBS Bank, including information about your iBanking transactions or instruction status, or announcements about iBanking services. You can choose to view or delete messages in "Messages" anytime.
