DBS IDEAL Security Enhancements
We understand the importance of keeping your business safe, so you can focus on growth worry-free. Discover how our latest DBS IDEAL updates keep you ahead of potential threats.
 
IDEAL will instantly alert you of suspicious or high-risk payees when making local transactions by utilising Scameter's database. This helps you identify potential fraud cases and scams and prevent financial loss.
 
Initiate a payment to a new or existing payee.
If the payee is listed as ‘High risk’ in Scameter, a ‘High Risk’ alert will be displayed to remind you of the suspicious detection. Please be prudent and think again about whether you should proceed with the transfer.
You may click ‘Cancel’ to terminate the payment process.
If you still wish to proceed with the payment, the ‘High Risk’ warning will continue being shown so you are aware of the risks associated with this transaction.
 
We are enhancing DBS IDEAL and DBS IDEAL app to include early detection of suspicious activity. Look out for these instant alerts via your registered email address and mobile number to take immediate action in safeguarding your account.
Geographical Locations
We monitor login attempts from various geographical locations to spot unusual access.
Device Used for Login
Unfamiliar devices and browsers used during login trigger alerts to ensure your account’s safety.
Login Mode
You will be promoted to secure your account if there are changes to the login mode.
 
Gain more control over your account’s security with detailed user login activity reports from your DBS IDEAL account. This enables you to review and verify access attempts with ease.
Log in to your DBS IDEAL account and go to ‘Reports’ section.
Under ‘Admin Reports’, select ‘User Login Report’ to generate and view your detailed login activities.
 
Take control and safeguard your account with these enhancements. Enjoy peace of mind and explore these new features today!
