Log in to DBS Card+ account
Tap "More" at the bottom
Tap "Octopus Automatic Add Value" under "Apply"
Scroll down and click "Apply Now"
Select credit card for AAVS, input your Octopus Number, select the Automatic Add Value Amount (HK$250/HK$500/HK$1,000) and accept the Terms and Conditions
After fill in all required information, scroll down and click "Apply Now"

Processing time: 7 working days.
Supplementary cardholders can apply Octopus AAVS through paper application form only if the main cardholder has used Octopus AAVS service at any bank.
A notification will be sent to applicant by post if the application is approved. For other notifications or updates, the Bank will communicate with the applicant through eLetter in the DBS Card+ app. You can view the eLetter under DBS Card+ "eLetter" function. If you are not a DBS Card+ app user, the notification letter will be sent to you by post. If you do not agree to receive notifications or updates via eLetter, you may send an email to [email protected] or call our Customer Service Hotline at 2290 8888 to instruct us otherwise.
The Terms of Application and Octopus Automatic Add Value Service Agreement are subject to revision from time to time. Prevailing version of the Terms of Application and Octopus Automatic Add Value Agreement is available at Octopus Cards Limited website (www.octopus.com.hk). If you do not agree or have no online access to the Terms of Application and Octopus Automatic Add Value Service Agreement, you may contact Octopus Cards Limited.

Once your AAVS application is approved, you will receive an activation letter by mail. You may choose to activate the AAVS function within 30 days from the issue date of the letter through one of the channels below:
Bring along the activation letter, the original copy of your identification document and the registered Octopus in person to any MTR Customer Service Centres to activate the AAVS function. After the activation of your AAVS service, MTR staff will keep the activation letter for record.
Follow the instruction and activate the AAVS function through the Octopus App with Near Field Communication (NFC)-enabled Android phone as tested by Octopus. Please click here for details. (Not applicable to Octopus Mobile SIM user)
Note:
To activate the AAVS function via the Octopus App, your Octopus card number should be in 9-digit (eight digits plus one single digit inside the bracket).
If you do not activate within this 30-day period, you will have to contact Octopus Cards Limited to re-arrange the activation letter to activate the service.
If the stored value of your Octopus is zero or negative, or remaining value plus the maximum negative value (HK$35) is not enough to cover the intended value deduction, your card will automatically be reloaded with HK$250.
First time applicants of Automatic Add-Value Service will enjoy HK$20 fee waiver. Applicants switching banks or restarting Automatic Add-Value Service are required to pay Octopus Cards Limited a HK$20 non-refundable handling fee.
Each Octopus can only be reloaded automatically once a day.
The application fee, handling fee and the Automatic Add-Value transaction of HK$250 each time will be directly debited from your designated DBS Credit Card Account.
