“DBS Mastercard® x Cathay Pacific/Cathay Dragon/Cathay Pacific Holidays 10% Cash Rebate” Promotion Terms and Conditions:

 

  1. “DBS Mastercard x Cathay Pacific/CathayDragon/Cathay Pacific Holidays 10% Cash Rebate” Promotion (“Promotion”) is only applicable to the principal cardholders ("Cardholders") of DBS Mastercard (“Applicable Credit Cards”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the "Bank").
  2. The promotion period runs from 22 March 2018 to 21 May 2018, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
  3. Cardholders are required to register for the Promotion at the Bank’s website at http://cards.dbs.com.hk or DBS Omni mobile application with the Applicable Credit Cards from 9:00am on 22 March 2018 to 11:59pm on 21 May 2018 following below steps:
    1. Register DBS Omni membership (for those Cardholders who are already with DBS Omni membership may skip step (i) and go to step (ii) directly);
    2. Register the Promotion with his/her Applicable Credit Cards. Cardholders have to read and confirm the acceptance of the Promotion’s terms and conditions and input the required information according to the instructions. Cardholders will be given a confirmation email with reference number upon successful registration for record and enquiry purposes. Each Applicable Credit Card is only required to register once within the Promotion Period.
  4. With a successful registration, the Eligible Transactions (“Eligible Transaction”, as defined in Clause 5b below) at Designated Spending Merchants (“Designated Spending Merchant”, as defined in Clause 5a below) of Cardholders’ Applicable Credit Cards during the Promotion Period will be entitled to a lucky draw chance (“Lucky Draw”).
  5. For the purpose of the Promotion, the following terms shall have its corresponding meaning:
    1. “Designated Spending Merchant” shall mean the website of Cathay Pacific Airways Limited (i.e. https://www.cathaypacific.com) or its mobile app.
    2. “Eligible Transaction” shall mean any posted retail transactions conducted at Designated Spending Merchant during the Promotion Period (for transactions being settled with an installment loan, only the first month installment payment amount shall be counted). For the avoidance of doubt, the following types of transaction shall not fall under the scope of Eligible Transactions: reversed transactions, Fee Based Instalment, any transactions that are subject to cancellation, charge-back, return of goods and/or refund, or any other categories of transactions as the Bank may specify from time to time.
  6. There are 1,300 winners for the Lucky Draw and each winner will be entitled to 10% cash rebate of respective total spending amount of Eligible Transaction (“Reward”) during the Promotion Period. Each winner can get Reward of up to HK$400 cash rebate. Cash rebate amount will be rounded down to an integer, decimal places will not be counted.
  7. Any Eligible Transaction conducted with a supplementary card of the Applicable Credit Card will be counted as the spending under the principal card account. Eligible Transactions conducted with different credit cards of the same Cardholder cannot be combined.
  8. Lucky Draw will be conducted within 3 months after the end of the entire Promotion Period. The Bank will announce the Lucky Draw results at www.dbs.com.hk. Reward will be credited to the relevant Applicable Credit Card accounts directly within 3 months after the end of the entire Promotion Period and will be shown on the monthly statement.
  9. Time and validity of any transactions and/or eligibility of a Cardholder to participate in the Promotion shall be determined by the Bank at its sole discretion based on the Bank’s record. If there is any discrepancy between the record of transaction held by a Cardholder and that held by the Bank, the Bank’s record shall be conclusive and binding on the Cardholder.
  10. Participation in the Promotion is subject to there being no abuse/non compliance by the customer, failing which the Bank will debit the value of the Reward from the customer’s account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.
  11. Reward are only applicable to Cardholders whose Applicable Credit Card accounts are determined at the sole discretion of the Bank to be in good standing and remain valid and not in default during the relevant promotion period and when the Rewards are presented. If the account status has changed, the Bank reserves the right to terminate the Reward for the Cardholder and/or charge the Cardholder with any amount of the Reward awarded without prior notice. The Bank shall have the sole discretion in determining a Cardholder’s entitlement to the Reward.
  12. Reward cannot be transferred, used to settle minimum payment, or exchanged for cash, credit limit or other discount/good/service.
  13. A person who is not a party to these Terms and Conditions may not enforce any of their terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong).
  14. The Bank may change the terms and conditions and/or modify/terminate the Promotion. The Bank’s decision is final.
  15. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.

General Terms and Conditions:

 

  1. To enjoy the Offers, Cardholders are required to settle payment for eligible transactions with the Applicable Credit Cards.
  2. For the promotion period of the respective offers, please refer to terms and conditions of participating merchants. Specific offers are not valid on black-out days as designated by participating merchants. Please contact the respective participating merchants for details. All relevant transactions, based on transaction date, must be conducted during the Promotion Period.
  3. Cardholders completing any posted specified online retail transactions at designated websites/webpages/applications of participating merchants or by using designated online payment system (“Eligible Transactions”) with the Applicable Credit Cards during the Promotion Period shall be eligible to enjoy the Offers. The following types of transactions are not Eligible Transactions: any bill payments, any transactions that are subject to cancellation, charge-back, return of goods and/or refund, or any other categories of transactions as the Bank may specify from time to time. Please refer to the designated terms and conditions of specific Offers and Eligible Transaction amount required.
  4. Unless otherwise specified, the Offers cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers or discounts, coupons or membership offers. The Offers and/or prizes cannot be transferred or used to settle the minimum payment, exchanged for cash, spending credit or other discounts/products/services.
  5. All products and services are subject to availability while stocks last.
  6. The prices of all products and services are designated by the relevant participating merchants and are subject to change from time to time without notice.
  7. The Bank is not the supplier of the products/services or the description, photos or reference prices in relation to the products/services published in our website (which is intended to be for reference only). Any enquiry, claim or complaint in relation to the quality or availability of the products/services or the accuracy of any of the aforementioned information contained in our website shall be directed to the relevant supplier. The Bank shall assume no liability in respect thereof.
  8. The Bank will not accept any liability for any loss incurred by Cardholders should the participating merchants refuse to provide the Offers.
  9. The Offers are only applicable to Cardholders whose Applicable Credit Card accounts are determined at the sole discretion of the Bank to be in good standing and remain valid and not in default during the relevant promotion period and when the rewards and/or cash rebate are presented. The Bank shall have the sole discretion in determining a Cardholder’s eligibility to the Offers.
  10. Time and validity of any transactions and/or eligibility of a Cardholder to the Offers and/or rewards shall be determined by the Bank at it sole discretion based on the Bank’s record. If there is any discrepancy between the record of transaction held by a Cardholder and that held by the Bank, the Bank’s record shall be conclusive and binding on the Cardholder.
  11. Transactions made by different Applicable Credit Cards of a Cardholder cannot be combined. If there is a supplementary card under the Applicable Credit Card account, Eligible Transactions conducted under the supplementary card will be deemed as Eligible Transactions conducted under the principal card account.
  12. Any fraud and/or abuse of the Offers by any person (as determined by the Bank at its sole discretion) will result in forfeiture of the person’s eligibility to the Offers and/or cancellation of all or part of the person’s account(s) with the Bank. The Bank reserves the right to deduct the value of any rewards and/or cash rebate awarded inappropriately to a person directly from any of the person’s account(s) with the Bank without prior notice and/or take legal action in such instances to recover any outstanding amounts.
  13. The Bank and designated merchants reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions as well as to vary or terminate the Offers. In the event of disputes, the decision of the Bank and designated merchants shall be final and binding.
  14. A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions may not enforce any of their terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong).
  15. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.
