“Café de Coral’s Chinese New Year Delights Promotion 2018” Terms and Conditions:

 

  1. Offers are not applicable to DBS Black American Express® Card.
  2. Online/fax order is valid from 9 January 2018 to 25 February 2018 while Order-In-Person is valid from 9 January 2018 to 27 February 2018. Pick-up period is valid from 22 January 2018 to 2 March 2018.

    2. “Designated Merchant” shall mean any Genki Sushi restaurants in Hong Kong (exclude online merchants).
  5. During the Promotion Period, for Retail Spending completed with the Applicable Credit Cards at the Designated Merchant and displayed on Timeline of DBS Omni, upon receiving notification for participation in InstaRedeem, Cardholder can participate in InstaRedeem.
  6. Cardholder who receives the “InstaRedeem” offer can enjoy a conversion rate of $1 COMPASS Dollar / DBS$1 to HK$1.25 to set off the amount payable for Retail Spending at the Designated Merchant. Since Cardholders who choose to participate in DBS$ Cash Rebate Scheme under the DBS$ Reward Scheme are not able to use the InstaRedeem function of DBS Omni, they cannot enjoy the InstaRedeem offer. The Bank will not make any special arrangements and any forms of compensation.
  7. When using COMPASS Dollar / DBS$ in “InstaRedeem”, it must be in integral. Hence, if a Cardholder would like to fully set off the amount payable for Retail Spending at the Designated Merchant, the Bank will first round down the required COMPASS Dollar / DBS$ to the nearest integer, then convert it into HK$ amount at the rate of $1 COMPASS Dollar / DBS$1 to HK$1.25. If the converted HK$ amount has decimal places, the Bank will round up the amount to the nearest integer and credit the amount into the credit card account. For avoidance of doubt, please refer to the below calculation of B and C in the illustration using DBS$ for reference:

  8. Besides fully set off the amount payable for Retail Spending at Designated Merchant, Cardholders can also choose to use COMPASS Dollar / DBS$ to set off part of it. In calculating the HK$ amount that can be set off, the amount will be rounded up to the nearest integer. For avoidance of doubt, please refer to the below calculation of B in the illustration using DBS$ for reference:

  9. “InstaRedeem” offer must be used on or before 25 February 2018.
  10. “InstaRedeem” are only applicable to Cardholders whose Applicable Credit Card accounts are valid, not in default and in good standing (as determined by the Bank at its sole discretion) during the Game Period and the Promotion Period. If the status of a Cardholder’s Applicable Credit Card account is not in good standing, the Bank reserves the right to disqualify the Cardholder from participating in InstaRedeem.
  11. Participation in InstaRedeem is subject to there being no abuse / non compliance by the Cardholders, failing which the Bank will debit the value of the reward from the Cardholder’s account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.
