General Terms and Conditions for DBS COMPASS Visa Offers

1. Unless otherwise specified, the promotion offers published in this webpage ("Offers") are only applicable to the cardholders of DBS COMPASS VISA (“Applicable Credit Cards”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”) (“Cardholders”).
2. To enjoy the Offers, Cardholders are required to settle payment with the Applicable Credit Cards.
3. Certain Offers are not valid on public holidays, eves of public holidays, festive days, eves of festive days and black-out days as designated by the merchants. Please contact the respective merchants for details.
4. Cardholders should confirm the Offers with the respective merchants before payment. Unless otherwise specified, the Offers are only applicable to the respective merchant outlets in Hong Kong.
5. Unless otherwise specified, the Offers are applicable to regular-priced items only and not applicable to fixed-priced, discounted, consignment, promotional, festive and designated items/services. The Offers cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers or discounts, coupons or membership offers.
6. Advance appointment with mentioning of using the Offers during reservation may be required for specific merchants. Please call the respective merchants for details in advance.
7. Unless otherwise specified, the Offers related to dining are not applicable to take-away items, set menu, discounted dishes, room services, meetings, private functions, banquets, catering services, happy hours, charge for tea and condiments and 10% service charge.
8. All products and services are subject to availability while stocks last.
9. The prices of all products and services published in this webpage are for reference only. No notice will be made should there be any changes.
10. The Bank is not the supplier of the products/services or the description, photos or reference prices (if any) in relation to the products/services published in this webpage (which are intended to be for reference only). Any enquiry, claim or complaint in relation to the quality or availability of the products/services or the accuracy of any of the aforementioned information contained in this webpage shall be directed to the relevant merchants. The Bank shall assume no liability in respect thereof.
11. The Bank will not accept any liability for any loss incurred by Cardholders should the respective merchants refuse to provide the Offers.
12. Besides these terms and conditions, each Offer is subject to specific terms and conditions applicable to it.
13. The Bank and the respective merchants may change these terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Offers. The Bank’s and the respective merchant’s decision are final.
14. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.

 

Terms and Conditions for "DBS COMPASS VISA Watsons Surprise Discount Days" Promotion

1. “DBS COMPASS VISA Watsons Surprise Discount Days” Promotion (the “Promotion”) is only for cardholders (“Cardholders”) of DBS COMPASS VISA (“Applicable Credit Card”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”).
2. The promotion period of this Promotion is from now till further notice (“Promotion Period”).
3. Cardholder who completes Eligible Transaction (as defined in clause 4) on days specified by the Bank from time to time during the Promotion Period (“Promotion Calendar Day”) with the Applicable Credit Card at the Hong Kong outlets of Watsons (“Watsons Physical Stores”), or at www.watsons.com.hk * and Watsons mobile App (“Watsons eShop”) shall be eligible to 10% discount (“Discount”). Discount is rounded down to 2 decimal places.
4. “Eligible Transaction” shall mean a single retail purchase transaction of at least HK$400 at Watsons Physical Stores or Watsons eShop. Net transaction amount is the transaction amount after deducting any promotion discount (including staff discount, if applicable) and before COMPASS Dollar redemption. The following types of transactions are not Eligible Transactions for the purpose of the Promotion: bill payments, Octopus card reloads, phone or fax orders, purchasing coupons, stage 1 infant milk powder, prepaid phone cards, Environmental Levy on Plastic Shopping Bags, transactions made at any outlets outside Hong Kong (including China and Macau’s outlets), unauthorized transactions, transactions and reload of e-Wallets (including but not limited to PayMe, WeChat Pay and Alipay), any transactions that are subject to cancellation, charge-back, return of goods and/or refund or any other categories as the Bank may at its discretion determine from time to time. Also not applicable to any transaction paid through the in-app purchase function of Watsons mobile app using Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay in Watsons eShop.
5. Unless otherwise specified, the Discount entitled by a Cardholder is an instant discount, it will be deducted at the spot when the Cardholder pays with the Applicable Credit Card in the Watsons Physical Stores. If the Cardholder uses the Visa payWave contactless function of the Applicable Credit Card or pays with Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay which is bound to the Applicable Credit Card in the Physical Stores; or pays with the Applicable Credit Card in the Watsons eShop, Discount will be offered in the form of COMPASS Dollar rebate (“Rebate”) and will be credited to the Applicable Credit Card account within 3 months after the Promotion Calendar Day in which the relevant Eligible Transaction occurs. Rebate is calculated at the conversion rate of HK$1 discount to $1 COMPASS Dollar.
6. The Bank will announce the specified Promotion Calendar Days, the discount percentage, the specified amount of an Eligible Transaction and the maximum amount of Discount/Rebate entitled on each Promotion Calendar Day via the Bank’s website, promotion materials.
7. Each Applicable Credit Card account can enjoy a maximum Discount or Rebate or a combination of Discount and Rebate of amount of HK$60 on each Promotion Calendar Day.
8. If there is a supplementary card under the Applicable Credit Card account, the Discount and Rebate for Eligible Transactions conducted with the supplementary card will be counted towards the principal card account.
9. Unless otherwise specified, the Discount and Rebate cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers or cash coupons. The corresponding Discount and/or Rebate will be cancelled or returned along with any cancelled or refunded Eligible Transactions.
10. The Promotion is only applicable to Cardholders whose Applicable Credit Card accounts are in good standing, remain valid and not in default (as determined by the Bank at its sole discretion) during the Promotion Period and when the Discount and/or Rebate is offered to the Cardholders. The Bank has sole discretion to determine the eligibility of a Cardholder’s entitlement to the Discount and/or Rebate.
11. Cardholders must retain the original transaction slips or proof of any transactions. In case of any disputes regarding the Discount and/or Rebate entitled, the Bank reserves the right to require Cardholders to submit the relevant original transaction slips, other documents or evidence for verification. If there is any discrepancy between the record held by the Cardholders and that held by the Bank, the Bank’s record shall be conclusive and binding on the Cardholders. The submitted transaction slips, documents and/or evidence will not be returned.
12. Participation in the Promotion is subject to there being no abuse/non compliance by the Cardholder, failing which the Bank will debit the values of the Discount and/or Rebate from the Cardholder’s account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.
13. The Bank may change these terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Promotion. The Bank’s decision is final.
14. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.
