"AlipayHK Extra Spending Rewards" Terms and Conditions

  1. "AlipayHK Extra Spending Rewards" (“Promotion”) is only applicable to the principal cardholders who have bound DBS Credit Cards and Co-branded Cards (excluding Private Label Card, Business Card and DBS Black American Express® Card) which issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (“The Bank”) (“Applicable Credit Cards”) to the AlipayHK account (“Cardholder”). This Promotion is not applicable to supplementary card cardholders.
  2. The promotion period for the Promotion is from 14 April 2022 to 30 June 2022, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
  3. Cardholders can enjoy extra spending rewards (“Offer”) by making designated amount of spending via AlipayHK with the Applicable Credit Card which is bound to the AlipayHK account (“Eligible Credit Card”), during the period from 12:00nn on 14 April 2022 (Hong Kong time) to 11:59pm on 30 June 2022 (Hong Kong time) (“Eligible Transaction”). Offer details are as follow:

  4. For the avoidance of doubt, Cardholders are required to fulfill the following requirements to be eligible to enjoy the offer:
    1. Cardholders is required to make the Eligible Transaction with the same Eligible Credit Card via the same AlipayHK account;
    2. Offer is applicable to the payment transaction via AlipayHK, transfer top-up transaction would not be counted as Eligible Transaction;
  5. The quotas of HK$10 AlipayHK Coupon are set at 25,000 each calendar month on a first-come first-serve basis and available until quota lasts. Quota full message will be shown on the Bank website if quota of the Offer is full.
  6. The Coupon(s) will be issued to Cardholder’s AlipayHK account. Each Coupon will be valid for 30 days upon issuance and can be used upon completion of a single spending of HK$50 or above at any designated merchant accepting AlipayHK with the Eligible Credit Card via AlipayHK.
  7. Only one Coupon can be used per transaction conducted with AlipayHK. Any Coupon that has not been used after the expiry date will automatically become invalid and will not be reissued.
  8. The Coupon is only applicable at all platforms (Taobao excluded), or eligible merchant outlets accepting the AlipayHK App for payments. The Coupon cannot be exchanged for cash, nor can it be used to top-up any stored-value facilities, and it is not applicable for any form of payment including tax payment, Person-to-Person (P2P) Payment transfer, local or international remittance, and red packet. The Coupon(s) are issued by AlipayHK and can only be used for transaction(s) paid by AlipayHK.   9. Cardholders are not required to present the Coupon when enjoying the offer. Under applicable circumstances, the Coupon will be deducted automatically upon Cardholders making subsequent transactions using AlipayHK. The Coupon will be shown as used after successful payment.
  10. Unless otherwise specified, the Coupon cannot be used in conjunction with other special promotions, discounts or promotional offers, nor transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
  11. For Cardholders who receive Consumption Voucher via AlipayHK, please select the Coupon manually to offset transaction amount during checkout.
  12. For goods return or refund, the amount on the relevant Coupon will not be refunded and the relevant Coupon will not be re-issued.
  13. Time and validity of any transactions and/or eligibility of a Cardholders to entitle the Reward shall be determined by the Bank at its sole discretion based on the Bank’s record. If there is any discrepancy between the record of transaction held by the Cardholders and that held by the Bank, the Bank’s record shall be conclusive and binding on the Cardholders.
  14. Coupon is only applicable to Cardholder whose Applicable Credit Card accounts are valid, not in default and in good standing (as determined by the Bank at its sole discretion) during the Promotion Period and until the Coupon is issued. If the status of a Cardholder’s Applicable Credit Card account is not in good standing, the Bank reserves the right to disqualify the Cardholder from receiving the Coupon.
  15. Participation in the Promotion is subject to there being no abuse/non compliance by the Cardholder, failing which the Bank will debit the values of the Coupon from the Cardholder’s account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.
  16. The Bank may change the terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Promotion. The Bank’s decision is final.
  17. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.

"eWallet Top-up Offer" Terms and Conditions

  1. The“eWallet Top-up Offer” (“Promotion”) is only applicable to the principal cardholders of DBS Credit Cards and Co-branded Cards (excluding Private Label Card and Business Card) (“Cardholder”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (“The Bank”) (“Applicable Credit Cards”). This Promotion is not applicable to DBS Black American Express® Card and supplementary card cardholders.
  2. The promotion period for the Promotion is from 1 January 2022 to 30 June 2022, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
  3. The Promotion includes two parts: (a) “Up To HK$120 Cash Rebate” & (b) “eWallet Lucky Draw”. To participate the Promotion, Cardholders are required to register for the Promotion with the Applicable Credit Cards from 9:00am on 1 January 2022 (Hong Kong time) to 11:59pm on 30 June 2022 (Hong Kong time) via Bank’s website https://cards.dbs.com.hk or DBS Card+ mobile application (“DBS Card+”).
  4. Cardholders will be given a confirmation email with reference number upon successful registration for record and enquiry purposes. Each Cardholder can choose only one of the Applicable Credit Cards to register once during the Promotion Period.
  5. For the Promotion, eWallet includes (a) Octopus Card on Mobile (includes Octopus on iPhone or Apple Watch, Huawei Pay Octopus and Smart Octopus in Samsung Pay); (b) AlipayHK; (c) PayMe; & (d) WeChat Pay HK (“Designated eWallet”).
  6. During the Promotion Period, Cardholder who binds the Applicable Credit Card in the Promotion via Designated eWallet for the first time and uses the Applicable Credit Card for top-up transaction (including transfer top-up) at HK$500 or above (net single top-up amount) (“Eligible Transaction”) to the Designated eWallet will be entitled to HK$30 “InstaRedeem” amount ("Offer"). Cardholder can redeem the Offer for that Eligible Transaction through the Red "InstaRedeem" button revealed on the Eligible Transaction after the transaction is posted and displayed in Timeline of DBS Card+, Cardholders can use the Offer received to set off the amount payable for that transaction via the “InstaRedeem” function of DBS Card+. Individual eWallet may charge handling fee during top-up.
  7. Offer is only applicable to the Cardholders who did not make any transactions with any Applicable Credit Cards at Designated eWallet respectively in the past 12 months prior to 31 December 2021.
  8. To enjoy the Offer, Cardholders are required to install the DBS Card+ and complete the registration of DBS Card+ account, and turn on the notification in DBS Card+ More > App & Security Settings > Push Notification > “InstaRedeem” before conducting any Eligible Transaction for participating in the Promotion. Cardholders must enjoy the Offer on or before 14 July 2022 23:59 (Hong Kong Time); otherwise, it is considered as giving up the Offer on its own.
  9. The Eligible Transaction post time and display time on DBS Card+ Timeline will vary depending on the merchant category, payment returning time from merchant or payment gateway.
  10. Each DBS Card+ user can enjoy the Offer once for each Designated eWallet (Once each for AlipayHK, PayMe, WeChat Pay HK and Octopus Card on Mobile, in a total of 4 times).
  11. Offer is limited to the first 11,500 Eligible Transactions. Offer is on a first-come first-serve basis and is available until the quota is full. Quota full message will be shown on the Bank website if quota of the Offer is full.
  12. During the Promotion Period, Cardholders who successfully enjoy the Reward once can be entitled to one lucky draw chance for “eWallet Lucky Draw” (“Lucky Draw”) automatically. Each Cardholder is eligible to get a lucky draw chance once only during the Promotional Period (if applicable). There are 10 winners for the Promotion and each winner will be entitled to HK$1,000 Cash Rebate (the “Prize”). The Lucky Draw will be held on or before 15 August 2022, and the winners will be drawn randomly by the computer. Cardholders can check the draw result and redemption details on DBS website (https://www.dbs.com.hk/personal/credit-cards/announcement.page?pid=hk-personal-card-footer#) after 30 August 2022. Prize will be credited to the relevant Applicable Credit Card accounts directly before 30 September 2022 and will be shown on the monthly statement.
  13. The Offer of this Promotion cannot be enjoyed in conjunction with other “InstaRedeem” promotion offers offered by the Bank and the merchants. If Customer’s spending meets the requirements of other "InstaRedeem" promotion offer at the same time, the Bank has the right to determine which offer to be awarded in respect of that spending. When the spending has already been awarded under the Offer of this Promotion, the same spending cannot be awarded again under other "InstaRedeem" promotions and vice versa. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right of final decision.
  14. Offer/Prize is only applicable to Cardholders whose Applicable Credit Card accounts are valid, not in default and in good standing (as determined by the Bank at its sole discretion) during the Promotion Period when the Offer/Prize is issued. If the status of a Cardholder’s Applicable Credit Card account is not in good standing, the Bank reserves the right to disqualify the Cardholder from participating in the Promotion and/or receiving the Offer/Prize.
  15. Time and validity of any transactions and/or eligibility of a Cardholders to entitle the Offer/Prize shall be determined by the Bank at its sole discretion based on the Bank’s record. Cardholders must retain the original transaction slips of any transactions. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right to require Cardholders to submit the relevant original transaction slips, other documents or evidence for verification. The submitted transaction slips, documents and/or evidence will not be returned. If there is any discrepancy between the Bank’s record and Cardholder’s record of any transaction, the Bank’s record shall prevail.
  16. Participation in the Promotion is subject to there being no abuse/non compliance by Cardholder, failing which the Bank will debit the values of the Offer/Prize from Cardholder’s account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.

General Terms and Conditions for DBS Credit Card Offers

  1. Unless otherwise specified, the promotion offers published in this webpage ("Offers") are only applicable to the cardholders of DBS Credit Cards, DBS Co-branded Cards and DBS COMPASS VISA (excluding Business Card and Private Label Card) (“Applicable Credit Cards”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”) (“Cardholders”).
  2. To enjoy the Offers, Cardholders are required to settle payment with the Applicable Credit Cards.
  3. For Cardholders holding DBS Black American Express® Card, Offers are applicable to them only at merchants’ outlets (either physical or online) accepting American Express® Card for payment.
  4. Certain Offers are not valid on public holidays, eves of public holidays, festive days, eves of festive days and black-out days as designated by the merchants. Please contact the respective merchants for details.
  5. Cardholders should confirm the Offers with the respective merchants before payment. Unless otherwise specified, the Offers are only applicable to the respective merchant outlets in Hong Kong.
  6. Unless otherwise specified, the Offers are applicable to regular-priced items only and not applicable to fixed-priced, discounted, consignment, promotional, festive and designated items/services. The Offers cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers or discounts, coupons or membership offers.
  7. Advance appointment with mentioning of using the Offers during reservation may be required for specific merchants. Please call the respective merchants for details in advance.
  8. Unless otherwise specified, the Offers related to dining are not applicable to take-away items, set menu, discounted dishes, room services, meetings, private functions, banquets, catering services, happy hours, charge for tea and condiments and 10% service charge.
  9. All products and services are subject to availability while stocks last.
  10. The prices of all products and services published in this webpage are for reference only. No notice will be made should there be any changes.
  11.   14. A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions may not enforce any of their terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong).
  15. The Bank and the respective merchants may change these terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Offers. The Bank’s and the respective merchant’s decision are final.
  16. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.
